Terms of Service

Agreement

  • These terms are an agreement between you and HeraldHire (“we”, “us”) for your use of HeraldHire.
  • By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
  • If you use HeraldHire for an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.

Your account

  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
  • Give us accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused (support@heraldhire.com).
  • You’re responsible for activity under your account, including your team members’ activity.

Plans, billing and cancellation

  • HeraldHire pilots are billed on an outcome basis (for example, completed screens and booked interviews) under a scoped pilot agreement.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing period and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend the account until it’s resolved.
  • Pilot scope, languages and outcome rates are described on the pricing page and confirmed in your pilot agreement.

Your content

  • You own the jobs, candidate data and other content you add to HeraldHire (“your content”).
  • You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit and display your content, only as needed to run the service, for example to run screening calls, schedule interviews or share candidate profiles with your team.
  • You’re responsible for your content, including lawful collection and use of candidate information.

Connected integrations

  • You authorize us to access and use the integrations you connect, according to the candidates, reqs and settings you choose.
  • Each provider’s own terms still apply to you. We aren’t responsible for a provider’s actions, such as blocking messages, changing its API, or suspending an account.
  • Some features depend on what each integration allows, and they may change or stop working if a provider changes its rules.

AI screening output

  • AI screening summaries may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and similar output may be generated for other customers.
  • Review every screen and suggestion before you advance a candidate. You’re responsible for hiring decisions and compliance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use HeraldHire to:

  • break the law or any integration provider’s rules;
  • discriminate unlawfully in hiring or misrepresent employment terms;
  • store or share candidate data you don’t have rights to, or use the service for non-hiring spam;
  • upload malware;
  • try to access other users’ data;
  • overload, reverse engineer or resell the service, except as an applicable open-source license allows.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

  • We work to keep HeraldHire available, but we don’t guarantee the service will run uninterrupted or without errors, or that every screen, message or sync will succeed (for example, if a provider is down or rejects it).
  • We may update features from time to time, and we’ll give notice of significant changes that reduce what your plan includes.

Ending the agreement

  • You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires us to.
  • After termination, we’ll handle your data as the Privacy Policy describes.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you about material changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
